ALL of the following steps are on-line forms and can be done via OPENetworks Web Assist.

You will need to register at OPENetworks Web Assist however once registered you can come back at any time and update your details or any of the on-line forms or requests. You can also view your history of requests as well as Frequently Asked Questions in regard to the Cabling Test Results and Connection to the Network.

1- Registration for Connection
(Home Owner/Builder)
Do this as soon as you have settled on your land and preferably before you appoint a builder. Make sure that your builder has included all requirements to allow your home to be connected to the FTTH network. Further details are included in the Fibre To Your Home section of the web site plus all information is available for download via "helpful documents". We need you to provide us with this information at least 12 to 16 weeks prior to the completion of your home.

 |
2- Home Cabling Test Results
(Cabler/Builder)
Your communications cabling contractor will be able to register with Web Assist and select your lot and street address and complete the home cabling test results schedule. This must be done 4 weeks before you are due to settle your home with your builder. This step is a "Certification" by your cabling contractor that all work has been performed to both OPENetworks and ACMA standards. Please note that there could be a charge associated with a second visit if the certified work is not at an appropriate standard to enable a connection.

 |
3- Connection Process (Connection to the network)
(OPENetworks)
This is the "last step" and will be activated as soon as the "Home Cabling Test Results" have been rciebed and checked. This step is done by OPENetworks and you do not need to do anything, provided that the test results are all complete. You will be notified via email as the connection of your home steps through each process. If there are problems with the works that your cabling contractor has undertaken and/or we have installation issues you will be notified. Ideally your home should be connected to the network PRIOR to settlement and move in.
