You will need a suitable Carrier Termination Cabinet (CTC) on the outside of the house and this is required to be accessible so that the equipment installed in this CTC can be serviced at any time.
There are a number of options for CTC configurations. These can be separate to the power meter enclosure or a combined meter enclosure & CTC can be used.
Inside the CTC the builder must have the electrician provide a double power point.
The Cabling Specialist is required to terminate the home cabling on an outlet plate referred to as the Home Cabling Termination Plate (HCTP). Layouts for a number of approved CTC cabinets are detailed in the CTC configurations section. |
