How To Use Web Assist

The following are screen shots from the web assist section of the OPENetworks web site. To become a member of Web Assist please follow the examples here or click on the links for Web Assist here or the getting Connected page.

Login
First time users will need to click
"New Account"
If You have previously used Web Assist, please log in using your nomunated User Name and Password.
"You can update your details any time after you have created your account"

New Account
A new user will need to set up a "New Account". Click on the link for New Account and fill in the details.
For Home Owners you will need to select:
Location = Your Community
Room = Your Lot no and Street Address
For Builders and or Cabling Contractors who are working on multiple dwellings please select:
Location = Your Community
Room = "Any" When you lodge a Request for a particular dwelling you can select the actual Room/Lot No & Street Address for the particular request being completed.

| Request Types |
| There are a number of different "request Types". The first are the "three" steps in getting connected: |
| Registration For Connection |
| Register your home for future connection to the network. |
| Home Cabling Test Results |
| Certification of the standards and workmanship for cabling within your dwelling. |
| Connection to Network |
| The final step to get connected. You need to confirm your settlement and move in dates. As well you will need to ensure that all items in Step 2 Home Cabling Test Results have been confirmed and submitted. |

There are also three General Request Types that you can lodge at anystage and these are:

If you need on a matter, maybe in relation to information required or cordination with your builder or once you are connected you have have a service issue with a retail service provider. We "may" be able to assist. |

A suggestion about a new service or a new service provider that you may feel would add value to the network and the community. We would like to hear from you? |

You can also view your history of requests lodged as well as update the request or check on it's progress.
