 CTC Configurations

The only aproved enclosures are detailed below. The following drawings show the only approved cabinets and the configuration required for location the power points and home cabling termination plate (HCTP). It is the home cabling contractors responsibility to prepare the cabinet, cut the backing board and ensure that the power points, earthing point and HCTP are located in the positions shown so that the equipment to be provided by OPENetworks/Fujitsu can be mounted correctly. The cabinets must be earthed and connected to the electrical earth and have a earth connection point to allow Fujitsu to connect the required earth for the Optical Termination Unit (ONU) and the power supply unit (PSU) which has a battery back up. The maintenance of the battery is the responsibility of the home owner and this will require replacing approximately each 18 to 24 months. This battery is a standard 12v 7.2Ahr battery used also in many home security alarm systems.
